A Fairy Tale Wedding At Morais Winery

The first time I met Jheraldine and Eloy was at our consultation. I immediately knew that they were a match made in heaven. She was a little shy, he was so caring towards her, and their sense of excitement was completely contagious as they talked about their wedding. They even finished each other’s sentences. Needless to say, they had me so excited for their big day.

Jheraldine wanted a Disney princess theme for the wedding (more of a sophisticated, adult version, of course) – something romantic with soft blush-toned flowers and plenty of rose petals to complete her vision. Wedding planner Esme, from Bodamaestra, did an incredible job of bringing Jheraldine’s vision to life, and the entire wedding was truly a fairy tale come true. The wedding was held at Morais Winery, a stunning venue right outside of DC, and the perfect location and landscape to fit such a royal affair.

Every detail was perfectly planned and executed, from the Disney centerpieces to the blush flower wall provided by Brightly Ever After. We choose all the lush flowers for her wedding day. There were pink and white peonies, white hydrangeas, O'Hara garden roses, amnesia roses, and an array of different greeneries to complete their floral story. Jheraldine’s bridesmaids’ dresses were a purple ombré tone, so they paired perfectly with the blush pink flower choices to compliment their wedding look.

While we had originally planned to have their ceremony outside, the weather had other plans. A thunderstorm rolled in that afternoon, and planner Esme made the brilliant decision to move it indoors. It couldn’t have been better timing, since the rain began to pour right at their 5pm ceremony time! It worked out beautifully though, since the indoor setup was nothing short of a fairy tale wedding.
